Meet Kei,

a fiery recording artist taking the New England hip-hop scene by storm. Growing up in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, MA, kei recalls always being surrounded by creative energy. Whether exploring activities like dancing and painting, or experimenting with her friends making music, creative pursuits have always been an integral part of kei’s life. 

After releasing her debut EP baby steps in 2021, kei quickly gained recognition in the New England music scene. Her 2022 follow-up EP terrible twos, inspired by Rico Nasty, solidified her status as one of Boston's top emerging artists. Following her terrible tour across Boston, New York, and Los Angeles, and her award-winning single berserk, kei was crowned Jack Daniel’s Best New Artist at the 2022 Boston Music Awards. She capped the year with her haunting CHILD’S PLAY EP and joined Harvard’s 2023 No Label Academy, earning co-signs from BIA and IDK. In 2024, kei headlined at Boston Calling.
